The annual Music on the Trail event at Oracle State Park, held on April 18th, proved to be an outstanding success, drawing visitors from across the region for a unique blend of live music and scenic outdoor adventure. Attendees hiked along the park’s picturesque Nature Trail, enjoying performances by local musicians whose melodies echoed through the rolling hills and oak woodlands.

Organizers reported a record turnout, with families, hikers, and music lovers alike taking advantage of the beautiful spring weather. The event featured a variety of genres, ensuring there was something for everyone, from acoustic folk to lively bluegrass. Many guests noted the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with both nature and fellow community members.

Park staff and volunteers helped facilitate the event, guiding guests and sharing information about the park’s ongoing conservation efforts. With the setting of the sun, the music transitioned to the Ranch House patio, an idyllic ending to the event and leaving participants with a renewed appreciation for Oracle State Park’s role as a hub for both recreation and culture. Friends of Oracle State Park hosted the event. Learn more about FOSP and upcoming events at: www.friendsoraclestatepark.org.
